Airport transfers to and from Auckland Airport 

Auckland Airport is located around 24 kilometres from the Central Business District (CBD) and the average journey is between 30-45 minutes dependant to traffic flow and time of day.  The airport is divided into two main terminals, Domestic and International, and are approximately a 10 minute walk (or there is a free shuttle) between the terminals.

Flights departing Auckland

We recommend you arrive at the airport no later than 90 minutes before the departure of your international flight, or 45 minutes before the departure of your domestic flight. At both terminals, our taxi and shuttle services drop you directly outside the check-in area for your airline so there is no hassle on departure, just turn up and bon voyage!

Flights arriving Auckland

Upon arrival in Auckland, many of our operators provide a meet and greet service in the arrivals area. For domestic flights, this is located near baggage claim in the arrivals area - and for international flights this in the main arrivals hall after immigration and quarantine. Both terminals are easy to navigate - and you are likely to be on your way within 10 minutes of arrival of your domestic flight, or 60 minutes after the arrival of your international flight.

Airport transfers to and from Wellington Airport 

Wellington Airport is located around 8 kilometres from the Central Business District (CBD) and the average journey is is between 15-25 minutes dependant to traffic flow and time of day. The airport is has one main passenger terminal, with arrivals on the lower level, and departures on the upper level. Both domestic and international flights use a common check in area - which will depend on your airlines.

Flights departing Wellington

We recommend you arrive at the airport no later that 90 minutes before the departure of your international flight, or 45 minutes before the departure of your domestic flight. At the terminal, our taxi and shuttle services drop you directly outside the check-in area for your airline so there is no hassle on departure, just turn up and bon voyage!

Flights arriving Wellington

Upon arrival in Wellington, many of our operators provide a meet and greet service in the arrivals area. For domestic flights, this is located near baggage claim in the arrivals area - and for international flights this in the main arrivals area (turn left) after immigration and quarantine. The terminal is easy to navigate - and you are likely to be on your way within 10 minutes of arrival of your domestic flight, or 45 minutes after the arrival of your international flight.

Airport transfers to and from Christchurch Airport

Christchurch Airport is located around 10 kilometres from the Central Business District (CBD) and the average journey is is between 10-20 minutes dependant to traffic flow and time of day. The airport is has one main passenger terminal, making arrivals and departures an easy process. Both domestic and international flights use a common check in area - which will depend on your airlines.

Airport transfers to and from Regional Airports

Air New Zealand operate to many of your favourite regional locations, and we have transfer providers to get you where you need to go. Because of the diverse geography around New Zealand, some airports may be located up to 50 minutes away from the city centre - we recommend you view the route mapper when planning your journey to ensure you allow enough time. 

Flights departing regional locations

We recommend you arrive at the airport no later that 90 minutes before the departure of your international flight, or 45 minutes before the departure of your domestic flight. As our regional terminals are often small we recommend arriving no earlier than 90 minutes before the departure of your domestic flight, or three hours before the departure of your international flight.

Flights arriving regional locations

Upon arrival, some of our operators provide a meet and greet service in the arrivals area. For domestic flights, this is located near baggage claim in the arrivals area - and for international flights this in the main arrivals hall after immigration and quarantine. At some airports this meeting point is at the designated taxi rank - when provided this will be listed on your e-ticket as "Meet at rank" with directions includes. Our regional terminals are small and easy to navigate -  you are likely to be on your way within 10 minutes of arrival of your domestic flight, or 60 minutes after the arrival of your international flight.
